Hi all!

Hope you're all well.

I got some bargaintastic Orly polishes in the post recently so here are the 3 pinks I got.

Thumb & Ring - On The List
Pointer & Middle - Purple Crush
Pinky - Hype

I used 3 coats of each but think it was more the fiddly mini brushes than the formula.

"This is Halloween" Nail Art Challenge

Hi all!

So I'm taking part in another nail art challenge =)

This is being hosted by Laquer Dreams and as I'm sure you can tell is Halloween based.

So watch this space...

NOTD: Sally Hansen Bronze Ablaze

Hi all!

I've got 1 of my Poundland bargains for you today.

Bronze Ablaze looks like a fab duo chrome in the bottle, on the nail not so much, though its still nice.

Application was fine, I really liked the flat brush and stem. 1 coat was fully opaque but I always do 2 for good measure.

Then I added a nice pale pink Natty glitter polish I got on hols to my ring and thumb.

Are bronze and pink a good combo?

Well I'm starting to feel normal again so here's a post of my nubbins for ya's.

I got my hands on this new Barry M Gelly and "oh my" it's quite lovely. I love the application, can't wait to use it on some sandwiches. 3 coats achieved full opacity.

I also got Seuss from Whimsical Ideas By Pam, in a recent competition win. I was so excited to get this as it was a major lemming of mine.

I can't wait to try this out on longer nails.

So how have you all been?

NOTD: Essence Bashful

Hi all!

Welcome to my first proper post since my return from my hols.

Today I am sporting nubbins. Before we went away I got my nails chopped and shaped and I can't believe how much they've grown in 2 weeks, 1 of the benefits of living in a warm climate I suppose.

Anyway I'm embracing my nubbins by sporting more autumnal colours. When I was out and about yesterday I FINALLY managed to nab some of the Essence Snow White collection, they didn't have much so I took all I could and Bashful, a lovely olive green with a golden shimmer was 1 of the few they had left.

I also wanted to try the lovely prize polish out that I win from Polish Monsters recent giveaway so added Girly Bits Wet Bikini to my ring and thumb.

1 coat OPI Nail Envy
2 coats Essence Bashful
2 coats Girly Bits Wet Bikini (ring & thumb)
1 coat Seche Vite

So are you still rocking summery brights or have you made the transition of seasons yet?

Sponsored Post: Cybercandy

I'm sure a number of you have heard of  Cybercandy - a sweet shop like no other.  They import an astounding range of sweets and drinks and other cool stuff from all over the world for your delight and delectation.

Well when I saw on their facebook page that they were looking bloggers to write product descriptions I jumped at the chance.  To be honest I thought this being mainly a nail blog I didn't have a chance but I was pleasantly surprised when they contacted me the next day.  And just 24 hours later my box of goodies landed on my door step.

What an amazing haul!  Am I right?

Check out their website here

"these are a few of m favourite things" Day 10 - My Favourite Mani!

Hi all!

Can't believe this is the final day of Ooh La La Polish's "these are a few of my favourite things" Nail Art Challenge.  I've really enjoyed doing it and am happy to say that I have learnt at least 1 new technique.

Anyone that knows me or that has been following my blog for a while will know that my all time favourite mani is Leopard Print!  Add to that the fact I rarely have my nails painted 1 colour I decided to go with Pastel Skittle Leopard Print!

I used the Nails Inc "The Icons" for each nail and NYC Pinstripe White for the spots.

I hope you enjoyed seeing my attempt at the challenges each day and I look forward to the next one.
