Disney Nail Art Challenge - Beauty and the Beast

Hi all!

Another timeless classic today - Beauty and the Beast (in my head I'm singing "Be Our Guest/Tale As Old As Time").

I went a slightly different route with this mani and chose to depict the Enchanted Rose, Belle's regular clothes, her ball gown, the Beast's dinner jacket and Chip's base.

Polishes Used:
Nails Inc - Kensington Park Road
Nails Inc - Sumner Place
Nails Inc - Chandos Place
Nails Inc - Bedford Square
Nails Inc - Culross Street
Nails Inc - Waterloo Place

What's your favourite Beauty and the Beast song?

  2. I cannot pick I favorite, I just love Beauty and the Beast! I can admit that my friends and I for a year would sing (and slowly incorporated a dance) to Be Our Guest before gym class down the stairs. I just adore Belle's traditional outfit nail.

I'm trying.

Hi! So I've been trying my damnedest to keep this blog going. And I'm not doing very well. I had drafted some posts a while back (which I will still go ahead and post). I never got round to posting them at the time because I had an iPhone and the app just didn't want to work for me.
I know theyre a little out of date but I hope you still find them interesting. So what's been happening since I last posted?  Well I met a guy (on Tinder of all places), we got engaged last November (I'll do a proper post on this), and we got marries this September!  We enjoyed a wonderful honeymoon in Japan and for the past month its been back to reality. I am going to change this blog a bit.  Before it could have always been classified as a beauty blog. Now I think it'll be more of an eclectic blog (by the way check out She's Eclectic one of my all time favourite bloggers). Anyway,  sorry about all the words and lack of pictures bit I hope to rectify that soon. Bye for now.

Money Smart Nail Art Competition Entry

Hi all!
Wow!  I'm really shocked, MoneySupermarket.com have invited me to participate in their Money Smart Nail Art Bloggers Competition.  This means I am in with the chance to win a prize worth £300, how amazing would that be!

Anyway for my regular followers you will know that I'm mad on leopard print!  So I thought what better design to do a tutorial on.
Materials Required: Base Coat - I use OPI Matte Nail Envy Selection of polishes - cremes are best for opacity but you can use glitters if you build them up Nail Art pen or Dotting Tool  Top Coat - I use Seche Vite

Paint your nails with the base coat to protect your nail from staining (I also find that Nail Envy encourages nail growth). *A good tip is before you start, wipe your nails with some nail polish remover, this is called squeaking the nail, it will remove any excess oil, making your mani last longer.

Paint your nails your chosen colours, any colours work but I've chose a few of the Barry M Gellies (which are c…

Pastel Polka Dots

Hello lovelies!
A lazy Friday night in resulted in playing with polish and with studs.

Polishes used: Lime Crime - Parfait Day Treasures By Tan - Gramma Cupcake

I was in the mood for some spring pastels to brighten up this horrid grey weather we've been suffering recently.

I added the studs as an afterthought, I was going to attempt some freehand art but I love how these turned out.
