Happy Blogiversary to ME!!! - Blogiversary Manicure

Hello Lovelies!

Oh my goodness I can't believe that 1 year ago today I decided to start documenting my "little" obsession.
I initially got my inspiration from Lindsey at Neverland Nail Blog, I was an avid reader of her blog and facebook page and because she's such a lovely and approachable person I was able to ask her questions and with a bit of advice from her and a bit of prompting from another friend of mine Oonagh, I set up this blog =D

Well now that the Oscar Speech is out of the way here's my blogiversary manicure.  I decided to give water marbling a serious go.  But I wasn't brave enough to do all 10 digits so I went with the thumb and ring accents.

Polishes Used:
Sinful Colors - Snow Me White
Lime Crime - Pastelchio
Lime Crime - Milky Ways
Lime Crime - Creama De Limón
Lime Crime - Parfait Day
Lime Crime - Lavendairy

I knew exactly what I wanted on the other digits...
Polishes Used:
Sinful Colors - Beautiful Girl
Revlon - Girly

I've been eyeing Girly up since it first appeared on the scene and I'm so glad we in the UK actually got it as it's STUNNING!  So, so pretty and well girly!

My first real attempt at water marbling's not been too bad, maybe I won't be as scared the next time.

Don't forget to check out my competition post featuring some fabulous prizes, including Revlon Girly (I picked up an extra for you lovelies).

So once again Happy Blogiversary to me, share my blog, facebook page etc... with your friends and feel free to show your fabulous mani's off.

Lots of Love

I'm trying.

Hi! So I've been trying my damnedest to keep this blog going. And I'm not doing very well. I had drafted some posts a while back (which I will still go ahead and post). I never got round to posting them at the time because I had an iPhone and the app just didn't want to work for me.
I know theyre a little out of date but I hope you still find them interesting. So what's been happening since I last posted?  Well I met a guy (on Tinder of all places), we got engaged last November (I'll do a proper post on this), and we got marries this September!  We enjoyed a wonderful honeymoon in Japan and for the past month its been back to reality. I am going to change this blog a bit.  Before it could have always been classified as a beauty blog. Now I think it'll be more of an eclectic blog (by the way check out She's Eclectic one of my all time favourite bloggers). Anyway,  sorry about all the words and lack of pictures bit I hope to rectify that soon. Bye for now.

Money Smart Nail Art Competition Entry

Hi all!
Wow!  I'm really shocked, MoneySupermarket.com have invited me to participate in their Money Smart Nail Art Bloggers Competition.  This means I am in with the chance to win a prize worth £300, how amazing would that be!

Anyway for my regular followers you will know that I'm mad on leopard print!  So I thought what better design to do a tutorial on.
Materials Required: Base Coat - I use OPI Matte Nail Envy Selection of polishes - cremes are best for opacity but you can use glitters if you build them up Nail Art pen or Dotting Tool  Top Coat - I use Seche Vite

Paint your nails with the base coat to protect your nail from staining (I also find that Nail Envy encourages nail growth). *A good tip is before you start, wipe your nails with some nail polish remover, this is called squeaking the nail, it will remove any excess oil, making your mani last longer.

Paint your nails your chosen colours, any colours work but I've chose a few of the Barry M Gellies (which are c…

Pastel Polka Dots

Hello lovelies!
A lazy Friday night in resulted in playing with polish and with studs.

Polishes used: Lime Crime - Parfait Day Treasures By Tan - Gramma Cupcake

I was in the mood for some spring pastels to brighten up this horrid grey weather we've been suffering recently.

I added the studs as an afterthought, I was going to attempt some freehand art but I love how these turned out.
