NOTD: Manic Mani

Hello lovelies!

So this mani is a bit crazy and slap dash!  I wore it to a Christening I was attending but I didn't really want to match my nails to my dress so I decided to go for fun and I just started randomly grabbing polishes etc...

Polishes used:
Sinful Colors - Unicorn
Treasures By Tan - Paranormal
Sinful Colors - Mint Apple
Glitzology - Teal-icious
Essence - Black is Back
Lynb Designs - Miracle Max
Sinful Colors - Hazard
Treasures By Tan - Baby Shower
Nails Inc - Ladbroke Square
Essie - Off the Shoulder
Essie - Bikini So Teeny
Treasures By Tan - To The Moon And Back
Glitzology - Nebula

WOW!  That's a lot of polishes!!

Other bits used:
Rebel Nails - Love Bird Glitter Wraps

I love how this turned out!  It's really fun and quirky, exactly what I was going for.

Sometimes it's fun to be random!!

  2. I like you middle finger where you did the blue and glitter gradient. It makes me think of mermaids and the ocean. I also like the ring finger in the next to last pic where it looks like outer space. I even see a star out there! Really though they are all pretty. And the cute little face on your pinky nail. It looks like an alien baby. Girl of course, I can see her eyelashes.

    1. U was wondering what you meant by face but I see it now. The pinky/ring was a wrap from rebel nails but the design ended up being upside down due to the shape of the wrap. If you flip it, it's actually 2 birds sat on a line with a love heart between them =) xo

I'm trying.

Hi! So I've been trying my damnedest to keep this blog going. And I'm not doing very well. I had drafted some posts a while back (which I will still go ahead and post). I never got round to posting them at the time because I had an iPhone and the app just didn't want to work for me.
I know theyre a little out of date but I hope you still find them interesting. So what's been happening since I last posted?  Well I met a guy (on Tinder of all places), we got engaged last November (I'll do a proper post on this), and we got marries this September!  We enjoyed a wonderful honeymoon in Japan and for the past month its been back to reality. I am going to change this blog a bit.  Before it could have always been classified as a beauty blog. Now I think it'll be more of an eclectic blog (by the way check out She's Eclectic one of my all time favourite bloggers). Anyway,  sorry about all the words and lack of pictures bit I hope to rectify that soon. Bye for now.

Money Smart Nail Art Competition Entry

Hi all!
Wow!  I'm really shocked, MoneySupermarket.com have invited me to participate in their Money Smart Nail Art Bloggers Competition.  This means I am in with the chance to win a prize worth £300, how amazing would that be!

Anyway for my regular followers you will know that I'm mad on leopard print!  So I thought what better design to do a tutorial on.
Materials Required: Base Coat - I use OPI Matte Nail Envy Selection of polishes - cremes are best for opacity but you can use glitters if you build them up Nail Art pen or Dotting Tool  Top Coat - I use Seche Vite

Paint your nails with the base coat to protect your nail from staining (I also find that Nail Envy encourages nail growth). *A good tip is before you start, wipe your nails with some nail polish remover, this is called squeaking the nail, it will remove any excess oil, making your mani last longer.

Paint your nails your chosen colours, any colours work but I've chose a few of the Barry M Gellies (which are c…

Pastel Polka Dots

Hello lovelies!
A lazy Friday night in resulted in playing with polish and with studs.

Polishes used: Lime Crime - Parfait Day Treasures By Tan - Gramma Cupcake

I was in the mood for some spring pastels to brighten up this horrid grey weather we've been suffering recently.

I added the studs as an afterthought, I was going to attempt some freehand art but I love how these turned out.
