Disney Nail Art Challenge - Tangled

Hello my lovelies!

Today's Disney movie is Tangled.  I love this movie and went to see it with my best friend Chelle when it was in the cinema.  Whilst I can't sing the songs word for word (I am ashamed to say I don't have it on DVD yet) I was humming away.

Polishes Used:
Nails Inc - England's Lane
Nails Inc - Regents Place
Nail Inc - Little Miss Naughty
Nails Inc - Little Miss Splendid
Nicole by OPI - One Voice
Green Gelquins

So I've already discovered I'm rubbish at doing faces so that was out of the question.  So here I've depicted Rapunzel's birthday with the lanterns in the sky, Pascal her lovely little chameleon, her pretty dress and of course her hair.

This was my first time working with glequins and I love the finished look ♥

NOTD: Sinful Colors...

Hello lovelies!

So those of you in the UK may have noticed that Boots has recently started selling Sinful Colors.  They retail at £1.99 a bottle and are currently on offer 3 for 2.  I've managed to nab a load of them thanks to a combination of Boots points and Boots vouchers =)

Here's a few colour combo's I've done lately (mainly as undies for other mani's but I thought they deserved a post all of their own.

I can't wait to nab some more!

NOTD: Revlon - Heavenly

Hello lovelies!

Lately we've seen a lot of the mainstream brands jump on the indie bandwagon and they've started to produce some amazing effect topcoats etc...

Heavenly is exactly this.  A flakie topcoat that it just perfection in a bottle.  From previous experience I know that these polishes generally look best over black and this didn't fail to impress!

Heavenly looks so good over Essence - Black is Back that I got asked twice in different shops "where did you get your nails done?"  the girls thought it must be some ingenious technique and couldn't believe it when I told them they could nip into Boots/Superdrug to pick up the polish that would achieve this look.

Can't wait to see this in the sunshine so I think it may have made the holiday shortlist!

Girly Girl Nail Art Challenge - Chick Flicks

Hello lovelies!

So 2 movies immediately sprung to my mind for this challenge... To Wong Foo, Thanks For Everything, Julie Newmar and The Pajama Game. Maybe not the most conventional chick flicks but they're my kinda movies.

To Wong Foo stars Wesley Snipes, Patrick Swayze (RIP) and John Leguizamo as three drag queens (yes you read that right) travelling across country. But when their car breaks down in a small down they get more than they bargained for.

I love this movie and it always makes me lol.

NOTD: Dollish Polish - Crystal Empire

Hello lovelies!

I've got my first ever Dollish Polish to share with you today.  Not only that but it's based on My Little Pony Friendship is Magic and I'm a HUGE MLP fan!

I used Sinful Colors - Midnight Blue for undies, this was opaque in 1 coat but the perfectionist in me used 2.

Crystal Empire is amazing!  A clear base with light blue glitter, light blue dots, pale pink squares and dots, larger pink dots, blue, white and pink stars, blue and white crescent moons and I think there's even some holo's in there.

I love this polish so much, it's just so FUN!!
