2true - Glitterati

Hello lovelies!

This post shows you that sometimes it's worth checking out the bargain polishes.

Stocked in Superdrug and priced at £1.99 each or 3 for £4.99 these are certainly a bargain!

The Glitterati Collection is currently available in 5 shades, unfortunately they've no names just 1,2,3,4,5.

Shade 1
A baby blue jelly base filled with baby blue glitters
Shade 2
A pink jelly base filled with pink glitters
Shade 3
A royal blue jelly base filled with blue and green glitters
Shade 4
A clear base filled with purple and pink glitters
Shade 5
A clear base filled with blue and green glitters

I've tried them over black and white to show the different results they give.  I love how bright Shade 3 is over white but I love the complexity of it over black.  Then we have Shade 2, over black it's the most gorgeous rose gold colour, a complete surprise!!

These polishes are definitely a winner, cheap, cheerful, decent formula and a nice finish.

NOTD: Sinful Colors - Green Ocean

Hello lovelies!

I'm so happy (and lucky) to finally get my hands on this beauty, a fabulous friend from the US sent them to me and I thank her profusely.

A gorgeous sea green flakie that speaks for itself.

Shown here over Color Club - Abyss.

And once again I'm playing around with matte topcoats, this time Bourjois - So Matt.

Love it!

Edit:

Here's some better pics I managed to get (really must get better lighting) xo

NOTD: Dollish Polish - Poor Unfortunate Souls

Hello lovelies!

Poor Unfortunate Souls is epitome of Ursula from The Little Mermaid!

I chose Color Club - In Theory for the base as I thought it would help it to "pop" against the coral.

A clear base with black micro glitters, purple, pink and black squares and hexes and black stars.

And also with the fab Born Pretty matte topcoat.

I'm in love with this polish!

80s Cartoons - Stoppit and Tidyup

Hello lovelies!

Ah Stoppit and Tidyup. One of the lesser known cartoons but I loved it and had all the storybooks.

Narrated by Sir Terry of Wogan Stoppit and Tidyup lived in the land of "Do As You're Told" with their friends that include, Bee-Quiet and Bee-Have, Eat Your Greens, Comb Your Hair, Wash Your Face, Clean Your Teeth, Go And Play, Don't Do That, Go To Bed and the big bad I Said No! Amongst others.
I recently bought the series on DVD and relived my childhood.

Polishes used:
Nails Inc - Mansfield Mews
Nails Inc - Hyde Park Gate
Nails Inc - Manchester Square
Nails Inc - Pembroke Close
Nails Inc - Hans Road
Nails Inc - Portobello
Nails Inc - Carnaby Street
Selection of nail art pens

Sorry there's not many pics but this was done on my right hand and I think I'm suffering from RSI (got a doc appointment this week) and it's difficult to do the "usual" hand pose.

Hello lovelies!

I've another beauty from Dollish Polish today, Say Hello To My Kitty.
This is what I picture from the name.

I used Color Club - Evolution from the Kaleidoscope Collection (I picked the full collection up in TK Maxx for £7.99).

This blue on it's own is lovely, but what a great combo!

And check it out with my new favourite topcoat

Hello lovelies!

Today I'm wearing Dollish Polish Spank You Very Much.

This is the glitter I've been searching for.  A mint glitter, not green, not teal, not blue, mint!  With the added bonus of purple =D

I've popped it over Color Club - Blushing Rose, a nice soft pink.

NOTD: Dollish Polish - Wicked Wario

Hello lovelies!

I've found a wicked wee gem amongst my bargain purchases from Dollish Polish.

Wicked Wario is a purple micro glitter that looks like a shimmer, it's stunning!  Add to that mini green squares, yellow hexes and larger white squares for the odd pop of colour.

I used China Glaze - Fade Into Hue as undies and it was transformed from a dusty blue into a delicate purple.

This combo is totally knocking my socks off!
