It's Carnivalesque!

Hello lovelies!

I was heading out for a friends birthday and I wanted to make my nails pretty. Add to that my mum n dad were only home from Marmaris and had picked me up some new Golden Rosé polishes that I was itching to try out.

I started with a neutral base of Nails Inc - Porchester Square.

I then topped with Golden Rosé - Carnival (12). This is a textured glitter with black, white, pink and teal hexes and bars.

I left my accent nails glitter free Nd instead went Art Deco/Cloud themed on them. Using Sunful Colors - Creme Pink and Black on Black.

I love the Art Deco look, it's fun but classy!

Is this my mojo coming back?

Hello lovelies!

I've been a bit absent as of late.  I have still been painting my nails, but that's about it.  I've not attempted nail art of any description and as pretty as the polishes are I've felt really uninspired.  I've also had writers block.  I'm going to take the pressure of myself, where I expected a blog post daily, instead I'm going to focus on doing a mani I like and writing about it.  To be honest I'm just going to wing it, I hope that's ok with you?

Anyway onto my current mani!
I'd been in Boots recently and spotted Barry M Gellie - Grapefruit and thought "that's a lush colour I need to wear that again some time", so I did just that.  I went home and put it on.  That was on Friday night.  Today when I am writing this is Sunday, that's new for me.

I decided I needed a "real" mani and I was going to stamp over it at first but then I went with what was closest to hand and that was some nail art pens so I decided to do some freehand leopard print on my accent nails and add glitter to the rest.

The glitter I have used is Dollish Polish - Is This A Kissing Book? which was from Dolly's "The Princess Bride" collection.  A clear base with pink, blue and gold glitters.  Some of the pinks have a lovely holo effect and there are gold diamonds too.

It felt good doing this mani so long may it continue!

Ravenclaw & Hufflepuff Mani

Hello lovelies!

I've just been having another play with my fab Vanity Nails, Harry Potter  stamping plate.  I decided to to go with a Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff theme.

Polishes Used:
Nails Inc - Belsize Park
Nails Inc - Baker Street
Cult Nails - Blackout

I wore the blue and yellow on my accent nails and the relevant Crest on each.  A raven on my pinkie, badger on my index and on my thumb I stamped some spell names.

Harry Potter Nails ft. Nails Inc - Manchester

Hello lovelies!

I got this fabulous stamping plate from Vanity Nails and as a Harry Potter fan it makes me very happy!!

I've used Nails Inc - Manchester as the base and Barry M - Gold Foil for stamping.

I decided to focus on the early days. So we have Harry's iconic glasses and scar (pinkie), the golden snitch (ring), Gryfindor Crest (middle), You're a Wizard Harry (index) and the names of a lot of the main characters (thumb).

Aren't they fab and true Gryfindor colours!!

OPI - Did It On 'Em & Fly

Hello lovelies!

I was heading out and wearing a comic book print dress which left a lot of room for interpretation of colours.

I wore Urban Decay - Betrayal on my eyes, an iridescent dreamy purple. Revlon Lip Butter - Sorbet on my pout, a hot pink.

On my nails I fancied blue and green so Fly and Did It On 'Em won me over.
Quite a lot of colours but the look worked well together xo
